400 years after his death, here are 7 Shakespeare quotes that remain immortal

While the date of Shakespeare's birth is still not known for sure, it has been said the date (not the year) of his birth and death are the same, that is today, April 23.

Regarded as one of the greatest literary figures to have walked the earth, William Shakespeare's legacy ceases to lose to its charm even after 400 years of his demise.
During his life span, Shakespeare lived up to every bit of being the literary genius he was hailed as, by creating plays, sonnets and narrative poems that would later be translated into a treasure trove of literature. Born in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, the Macbeth dramatist was often called the Bard of Avon with his writings being translated into and performed in probably every language there is.
From creating powerful-yet-flawed characters like Lady Macbeth and Julius Ceaser to giving birth to heart-wrenching tragedies like Romeo and Juliet--Shakespeare and his words continue to live on, even after 400 years of his death.
Here are seven quotes by the Bard of Avon, which will never lose their colour.

‘Miracle’ teen Abigail Kopf leaves hospital rehab

Miracle teen ... Abigail Kopf, 14, who was shot in the head during a deadly shooting rampage has now left her rehabilitation centre. Picture: Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital.
The “miracle” US teenager mistakenly declared dead after she was shot in the head during a gunman’s rampage exactly two months ago has returned home from the hospital — defying the odds, her doctors said.
Abigail Kopf, 14, made “significant strides” during her six weeks of intensive inpatient therapy, according to the Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital, which chronicled her journey in a video posted to YouTube, reports NBC News.

Kopf was believed brain dead immediately after the shooting.
She was struck by gunman Jason Brian Dalton, who police say randomly roamed Kalamazoo on February 20 looking for targets. She was one of two people injured. Another six people were killed.
Dalton, a 45-year-old Uber driver, remains jailed in the spree and faces charges of murder, assault with intent to commit murder and felony firearm use in connection with a mass shooting. Police collected more than 40 shell casings across three scenes.
Physical therapist Joe Winegar (left with Abigail) said in the YouTube video: “We’re trying to get her so she can go to school and can help mum and dad in the house.” Picture: Mary Free Bed Rehabiliation hospital.Source:Supplied
Kopf’s mother applauded her daughter’s perseverance in the face of near-death.
She said: “She’s an amazing kid — especially when you’re told that she might be brain dead or she might not make it.
“To see her walking and talking and doing therapy the way she is — it’s amazing.”
Speaking on the YouTube video, father Gene Kopf said: “It was bad luck that it happened, but it was good luck that it happened near a trauma centre, it was good luck that it was cold that night, it was good luck that she was found quickly and that the bullet took the path that it did.
Some of it is sheer dumb luck but a lot of it is skill on the medical field.”

He also spoke out about America’s “gun violence epidemic” and said that something ‘must be done’ about a problem that ‘no other developed country has.
She is just one of many victims that suffer every day ... where does it stop?”

Leeds Rhinos Foundation's Try Club health programme inspires positive lifestyle changes : News : Leeds Rhinos

The group of 11 men who attended the weekly sessions have lost over 120lbs between them and the slimmer waistlines have not been their only transformations, with members on the programme saying it has helped them change their lives.

Self-employed Bill Brady joined the programme with the aim of kick starting a lifestyle change to see him become more active and achieve his personal goal of getting his weight under 14st by the end of the programme.

"When I first considered Try Club I was looking at lifestyle changes for me and to get more active and the benefit of the programme is that it also looks at food, so it ticked both boxes really," said Brady.

As a result of the health and fitness advice he learned on the programme, the 62-year-old finished week 12 with a personal weight loss of 7.2kg, achieving his weight loss goal, and also developed an interest in running as a motivator to keep his lifestyle change going.

"After two or three weeks I set myself a goal of taking on the Asda Foundation Leeds 10k and wondered whether I could actually achieve that, well after 12 weeks I am now convinced I can do that and I'm now embarking on the process of doing the training."

The programme's 50/50 split between classroom learning and fitness activity, has also given all the participants on the course the tools and knowledge to keep their diet and food intake under control.

"Both my family and colleagues are now starting to notice the difference visually," added Brady.

"They can see you losing weight, instead of walking around with a fairly hefty stomach. When I see what has happened to me in 12 weeks I find it phenomenal, I'd love to see it succeed even more with more groups spread across different backgrounds as well."

Penn State Students Help With Epic Proposal for Teacher

James Irvin enlisted the help of Penn State University students to help him propose to Duquina Johnson,
a Resident Life Coordinator at the school.
Students at Penn State University helped one New Jersey man propose to his girlfriend of one year, who is also a beloved staff person at the school.
James Irvin told ABC News that when his original engagement plan fell through, he decided to propose to Duquina Johnson on Friday during the university's Blue and White Weekend -- a time when many alumni return to the school.
"I called my fraternity brothers and they said they'd help me set it up," Irvin, 45, said, referencing his fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.
The Washington Township, New Jersey, man said members of the school's Gamma Nu chapter helped him create signs that marked important dates in their relationship, such as "Nov. 8, 2014," the day they were introduced to each other by a Penn State student via Instagram. The fraternity also helped corral students to the university's HUB-Robeson Center where the proposal happened.

William and Kate posture on Taj Mahal seat

Diana, Princess of Wales, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge pose on a bench at the Taj Mahal
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have sat together on the bench at the Taj Mahal in India where Diana, Princess of Wales, was pictured 24 years ago.
Prince William and Catherine posed at the mausoleum in Agra on the final day of their tour of India and Bhutan.
William's mother was captured sitting alone in front of the monument to love in 1992, shortly before the break up of her marriage to the Prince of Wales.
Royal officials said the duke and duchess hoped to forge new memories.
The couple were visiting the Taj Mahal after flying back to India from Bhutan.

hey sat together in the famous spot
By Peter Hunt, BBC royal correspondent
It was a day when a new royal narrative was written at India's Taj Mahal.
The Diana photographs captured isolation; a princess soon to loosen her ties to the monarchy.
Today, her son, a prince, brought his wife to the Indian monument to love - something his father promised and failed to do with his first wife.
Here was a duke and a duchess who appeared comfortable together and in their own skins.
Tourists at the World Heritage Site are told by their guides about the "Diana bench". It's a talk that will have to be updated. Fresh memories have been created.

The couple toured the grounds before later heading inside
In searing temperatures of 41C (106F) they walked through the grounds to a marble plinth and sat down on the bench in front of a bank of photographers.
They were later given a private tour inside the mausoleum.
It took 22 years and 20,000 men to build the gardens, surrounding buildings and central mausoleum, constructed from white marble which was transported from 200 miles away by elephants.

Earlier, the Cambridge's communications secretary Jason Knauf said: "The Duke of Cambridge is of course aware of the huge esteem his mother, the late Princess of Wales, is held in in India and he appreciates the status of the images that exist of the Princess at the Taj.
"He feels incredibly lucky to visit a place where his mother's memory is kept alive by so many who travel there.
"Twenty-four years on from her visit to the Taj, the duke and the duchess are looking forward to seeing this beautiful place for themselves and creating some new memories as they say thank you to the people of India at the conclusion of this tour."
It took 22 years from 1632 to build the white marble tribute to love
But a Kensington Palace spokesman later rowed back from attaching any special significance to the photocall's location, saying: "They made the decision because it is what all visitors to the Taj Mahal do - they sit on the bench with the perfect symmetry of the building behind them.
"Like everyone visiting this magical and beautiful place, they want to have a unique experience to remember forever."
Former royal press officer Dickie Arbiter told the BBC the visit to the Taj Mahal was a "very brave" thing for Prince William to do.

Anniversary treat

The duke and duchess's fifth wedding anniversary is on 29 April.
Taj Mahal tour guide Rizwan Mohammed, 35, said he wished them a happy anniversary, adding: "She said this is the perfect thing to do before their wedding anniversary."
He said they were fascinated by the story behind the building, of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and his late, favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died giving birth to their 14th child.
He added: "(Catherine) said she (Mumtaz) really deserved this kind of building as they were madly in love with each other - the prince was laughing.
"They were down to earth, very casual. I was quite nervous but they were very normal. She was asking about the inscriptions and what they mean."
The royal couple did not mention William's mother Diana but the guide told them "she was beloved so much in the whole of India".
Crowds of journalists gathered outside the Taj Mahal in anticipation of the royal couple's tour
